How counting works

Verified identity
Every voter verifies once with a government ID through Didit. An ID that already verified another account is refused.
One person, one ballot
Every number on this site is one verified person. Results are published as totals.
Results after you vote
Anyone can see how many ballots a question has. You see the split once you've voted on it, and everyone sees it when voting closes. While voting is open, totals update in batches of at least 10 ballots.
