Toronto Bike Lane Provincial Oversight
Under Bill 212, municipalities must get provincial approval to install bike lanes that remove a lane of vehicle traffic, and the province gained power to remove existing lanes on Bloor Street, Yonge Street and University Avenue in Toronto.
